ABOUT THE ARTIST

Headshot

ELIZABETH EICHELBERGER

Elizabeth, also known as Alysathena throughout the art world,

is an eclectic multi media artist.

Although she has a definitive style, she has a love for virtually every art medium

she has tried and has not found one medium that she prefers over

another. Within as much, her gallery as well as her archives are full

of an eccentric mix, containing everything from pyrography and

kirigami to oil painting and sculpting. Elizabeth's works are inspired

only by her vivid dreams, fantastic imagination, and the beauty that

she is surrounded by daily. Navigating multiple debilitating and

painful health issues, Elizabeth uses her art to escape into a magical

world.

Also an accomplished illustrator, as of the spring 2025,

Elizabeth has illustrated 25 children's books and 5 novel covers.

ARTIST BIO

Eclectic and whimsical mixed media

artist and children's book illustrator Elizabeth Eichelberger,

creating art inspired by the beauty of wildlife

and nature in a mix of surreal fantasy.

Many of her pieces depict the battle

between the beauty of nature and the sadness

of humanity's destruction thereof.

Elizabeth has been a Florida resident

are artists and wood craters

such as her oldest brother and father.

Spending the majority of her early life in Miami,

before residing in Marion County as a young adult,

now residing with her husband, daughter,

Great art picks up where nature ends. -Marc Chagall

ARTIST STATEMENT

I tend to create with any material within my reach,

with an eclectic palette. I have a passion for
sharing the beautiful imagery

which is a combination of my surreal dreams, sometimes nightmares,
as well as portray the beauty and

horror of the world the way that I envision it,

in an attempt to bring
beauty and understanding to the madness.
